Code Of conduct
Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and officials involved in our youth sports programs.
We believe that youth sports provide an opportunity for personal growth, teamwork, and the development of life skills. It is essential that all participants adhere to the following standards of behavior.
General Expectations
1. Respect for Others
Treat all players, coaches, officials, parents, and volunteers with respect, kindness, and fairness.
Display good sportsmanship at all times, win or lose.
Encourage a positive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and included.
2. Integrity and Honesty
Play the game fairly and honestly. Cheating, dishonesty, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Follow the rules and regulations of the game, as well as the guidelines set by the organization.
3. Safety
Prioritize safety for all participants and adhere to all safety protocols and rules established by the organization.
Immediately report any unsafe conditions or behaviors to coaches, officials, or administrators.
Properly use equipment and wear appropriate safety gear during practices and games.
4. Teamwork and Cooperation
Support the team’s goals and the success of each individual player.
Be encouraging, cooperative, and a positive influence within the team environment.
Always strive to build a sense of community and camaraderie among players, coaches, and families.
5. Appropriate Behavior
Physical, verbal, or emotional abuse, bullying, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Disrespectful behavior toward coaches, teammates, or opponents is unacceptable.
Use of inappropriate language or gestures is prohibited.
6. Commitment and Responsibility
Attend practices, games, and team events on time and with the necessary preparation and equipment.
Show commitment to the team, coaches, and the sport by giving full effort during practices and competitions.
Inform coaches in advance if unable to attend practices or games due to legitimate reasons.
7. Parental Expectations
Parents are encouraged to support their child’s involvement in a positive manner.
Refrain from yelling at players, coaches, or officials during games and practices.
Support your child in learning the values of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
Consequences of Violations
Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action, which may include:
Verbal or written warning
Temporary suspension from games or practices
Permanent removal from the organization
Disciplinary decisions will be made by the board of directors or designated officials, and actions will be taken based on the severity of the violation.
Acknowledgment
By participating in this youth sports program, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. All players, coaches, parents, and volunteers are expected to sign this document as an acknowledgment of their commitment to upholding the values and standards outlined above.
